The action-adventure game Bridge of Spirits is played in third person. Kena Kenya, a young spirit guide with magical skills, is controlled by the player. The player can make light, heavy, and charged attacks using Kenya’s staff during combat. A modification turns the staff into a bow that can be used to take down foes, serve as a grappling hook, or shoot crystals to unlock puzzles. The player can use Kena’s pulse ability to attack enemies, acting as a shield with a health bar that depletes when hit. It can also be upgraded to activate objects and provide clues, and with it, they can pass through barriers to the Spirit Realm, avoid attacks from enemies, stun them, and corporealize spirits.
