Fighting game Mortal Kombat 1 was created by NetherRealm Studios and released by Warner Bros. Games. The sequel to Mortal Kombat 11 (2019) and the second reboot of the Mortal Kombat franchise after Mortal Kombat (2011), it is the series’ twelfth main entry. On September 19, 2023, the game was made available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S; the premium edition was made available on September 14.
